Abdul Razzaq who made a comeback from ICL finally proved his worth to Pakistani’s T20 side as he managed to score 46 runs in just 18 balls and helped his team win the match by 4 wickets and just 6 balls to spare.
Pakistan, who asked England to bat first, got England on the back foot on the early stage of the match as they got the wicket of Denly for 5 runs. Then the England batsmen Trott and Pietersen took the game away from Pakistani as they managed to score 98 runs for second wicket before Trott got out on 39 runs. Immediately after him, Pietersen too followed him for 62 runs in just 40 balls which included 4 fours and 3 six. Then the other English batsmen found themselves struggling as they managed to put 148 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Chasing 148, Pakistan team lost both of their striking batsmen Nazir and farhar in just 4 runs. Then Umar Akmal gave some fight back to the team as he added 36 runs and then he fell to Swann when his team reached the score of 78 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 12.4 overs. Then it was the show of Abdul Razzaq who stole the match away from England and made it comfortable by hitting 5 towering sixes in his knock of 46 runs in just 18 balls and bought victory in just 19 overs and managed to square the two matches T20 series 1-1. Abdul Razzaq was named man of the match while Swann was named man of the series.
